Lunar Transits – I Keep Waking Up When The Moon Is Overhead

Since I  started following the tides, I’ve been theorizing that my bouts of insomnia are related to the lunar position. So when I wake up in the middle of the night, I go outside, and sure enough, it seems the moon is consistently roughly overhead, regardless of phase. This could, of course be an aftereffect of my becoming increasingly aware of the moon’s position and phase, but it seems interesting, any way.

So, I started looking at ways to look at lunar meridian passings and such. Found some interesting sites that I’d like to remember to check back with from time to time.
