Pigeonholes

I suppose people adopt the narrative that they’re most comfortable, or maybe familiar with. I know I’ve often felt pigeonholed into some scenario that I personally didn’t feel fit the situation, but when someone else decides that’s the scenario, well, it seems like there’s nothing left to do but play the role someone else has determined or get the heck out of the game.
